AraTheme 1.3 · For WHMCS administrators
The Growth group of the theme manager: visitor statistics, tracking codes, the cookie banner and SEO. They work together — every tracker waits for the visitor's consent.
Tracking & statistics
Built-in statistics (no cookies)
The Dashboard view shows visitors, visits, page views, bounce rate, visit duration, a chart, top pages, entry pages, channels, sources, campaigns, countries, devices, browsers, systems, languages, the store funnel with revenue, who is online now, and a CSV export.
- No cookies, nothing stored in the browser and no outside service. A visitor is recognised for one day only, by a hash that changes every night. Bots and uptime monitors are ignored.
- Choose who is counted, skip signed-in WHMCS admins, skip IP addresses (e.g. your office; a prefix like
203.0.113.covers a range), and how long records are kept (default 395 days, then deleted on their own).
Google Analytics reports in WHMCS (optional)
To see GA4 reports inside the theme manager: enter the GA4 property ID (the number in GA4 → Admin → Property settings, not the G- ID) and a service account key (JSON) with read-only access. The help text under the field lists every step in Google Cloud. The key is stored encrypted.
Tracking codes
| Tracker | What to enter | Consent group |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics 4 | Measurement ID, e.g. G-ABC123XYZ | Analytics |
| Google Tag Manager | Container ID, e.g. GTM-ABC1234 | Consent Mode decides per tag |
| Google Ads | Tag ID AW-… and the purchase conversion label | Marketing |
| Meta Pixel, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Advertising | Their IDs | Marketing |
| Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar | Their IDs | Analytics |
| Your own code | Always loaded, or after Functional / Analytics / Marketing consent | As chosen |
- Google Consent Mode v2 (advanced or basic) is built in — required by Google for visitors in the EEA and the UK.
- Send store events: viewed plans, started checkout and completed order (with order value and currency) go to every tracker, to the Tag Manager data layer and to the built-in statistics.
Script errors
When a script fails in a visitor's browser, the error, file and line (no personal data) appear in the Script errors view, grouped with a counter — so you see problems before customers report them.
Cookies & privacy
- Show the cookie banner: Automatically (recommended) adds the banner the moment you add Google Analytics, a pixel or your own code; without optional cookies the law needs no banner.
- Consent model: opt-in (GDPR), opt-out or notice. Ask: everyone or only visitors in Europe.
- Look: layout, corner, style, cookie icon, the "Cookie settings" button after a choice, equal "Reject all" and "Accept all" buttons (asked for by EU regulators), and an optional close button that rejects.
- Rules: link to your privacy / cookie policy (empty = your published page whose address contains "privacy" or "cookie"), ask again after (default 180 days), consent version (raise it after you add a tracker — everyone is asked again), respect Global Privacy Control.
- Cookie list: the cookies of WHMCS, the theme and every tracker you set up are listed automatically; add others (chat widget, payment provider) yourself.
- Record of consent: every choice is stored with a random consent ID, the time, the version, the page and a shortened IP address — so you can prove consent (GDPR art. 7). Search by consent ID, see statistics and export CSV.
- Texts: every banner text per language. The live preview shows desktop, preferences and phone.
Tip: make a Privacy policy page with the page builder and add the Cookie list block — it stays up to date by itself.
SEO
The SEO section shows a Google preview of your homepage and a list of checks (HTTPS, indexing, title and description length, sitemap, robots.txt, Search Console, share image) with what to fix.
Titles and descriptions
- Site name in titles and the title pattern, e.g.
{page} | {site}. - Homepage title (50–60 characters) and homepage description (140–160 characters) — per language.
- Default description for pages without their own. Knowledgebase articles, announcements and product groups use their own text.
- Title & description per page (per language): Page is a WHMCS template name (
homepage,knowledgebase,announcements,domain-pricing,contact…) or part of the address starting with/(e.g./store/vps). The first matching row wins. Tick Hide to keep a page out of Google.
Indexing
Let search engines index the site (turn off on a staging copy), keep private pages out of search (sign-in, client area, invoices, tickets, checkout), canonical links, and language versions (hreflang) so each searcher gets their own language.
Sharing and structured data
- Share image — 1200 × 630 px, shown when your link is shared on WhatsApp, Facebook, X or LinkedIn.
- Organisation & website data, breadcrumbs, articles and FAQ data from the homepage questions.
- Your profiles (one URL per line), support phone and email.
Verification, sitemap and robots.txt
- Paste the Google Search Console code (only the
content="…"value), and the Bing or Yandex code if you use them. - The XML sitemap updates itself (homepage, store groups, domain pricing, knowledgebase, announcements, your pages). Its address is shown in the section; submit it in Search Console.
- Under robots.txt click Use the suggested text and Save robots.txt. The old file is kept as
robots.txt.bak.
