AraTheme 1.3 · For WHMCS administrators

Part 3 of the theme manager guide: support tools, your own pages, news and offers, texts and translations, and the branded emails and PDF invoice.

Support

Department hours and reply times

Shown on Open a ticket: each department's hours, a live open / closed status and the usual first reply time. One row per department:

  • Department — part of its name or its ID. The first matching row wins, so put specific rows (e.g. "reseller") above general ones.
  • Opens / Closes — in GMT/UTC, e.g. 07:00 and 16:00. Leave both empty for 24/7.
  • Days — every day or Monday–Friday.
  • First reply — in minutes (60 = 1 hour, 1440 = 1 day). Use your real average.

Common requests and technical details

  • Common requests per department (per language): up to three one-click subjects per department.
  • "Attach technical details" on by default when a client opens a ticket.

Help assistant

A help button in the corner. Visitors type a question and get matching knowledgebase articles, your own short answers and pages at once — before they open a ticket. It searches your WHMCS knowledgebase; no AI and no outside service.

  • Turn it on, choose where it shows, and write the title and greeting.
  • Suggested questions (per language): one per line, shown as buttons.
  • Extra answers (per language): short question / answer pairs (opening hours, payment methods …).

Live platform status

Shows the state of your services on the Network status page and in the footer, read from your providers' public status pages.

  1. Add one row per service your customers see: choose the Service type, an optional own name, the status page address of the platform it runs on (pages in the common Statuspage style that list each part with its state, pages that show "All systems operational" with service messages, and the Contabo status page are read best; other pages get a simpler reading), and optionally only these parts (component names, comma separated).
  2. Set Check every … minutes (2–60). The page always shows the last reading at once; a slow status page never slows your site.
  3. Choose whether customers see the provider's incident titles, or a short message in their own language.
  4. Click Check now to test. Customers see only your service name and its state — never the provider's name or link.

Pages (page builder)

Build your own pages — About us, Privacy policy, landing pages — inside the theme.

  1. Go to Pages and click Blank page, or start from About us, Privacy policy or Landing page.
  2. Give it a title and an address (slug). The page is reached at index.php?m=arahoster_theme&p=your-slug.
  3. Add blocks and fill them in:
    • Hero — big title with buttons (dark, brand colour or light).
    • Text — headings, paragraphs, lists and links.
    • Features — icons with a title and a line of text, in 2–4 columns.
    • Plans & prices — real WHMCS products with live prices (group ID, optional product IDs, highlighted product).
    • Image + text, Image, Call to action, FAQ.
    • HTML — your own code (forms, embeds).
    • Cookie list — every cookie the site uses, kept up to date on its own, for your cookie policy.
  4. Optional: a menu label and icon, and where the link appears (header, footer or nowhere), clients only, hide the title, SEO title and description, and hide from Google.
  5. Save as draft (only admins can preview it) or published.

Pages are per language: switch Editing to a language to write that version. A language without its own version shows the default. Published pages are added to the XML sitemap on their own.

News & offers

News

Your newest published WHMCS announcements (Support → Announcements) on the homepage and on the client dashboard, in the visitor's language when you translated them. Choose how many (1–6) and the homepage title.

Offers

Each offer row has: title, text, badge (e.g. "-50%"), promo code, button and link, icon, colour, start and end time, where it shows (homepage cards, client dashboard banner, store banner or a one-time pop-up), for whom (everyone, visitors or signed-in clients) and on / off.

  • The promo code must exist in WHMCS (Billing → Promotions). The offer hides itself when the code is missing or expired.
  • With an end date a live countdown is shown.
  • The pop-up shows once per visitor and offer, never on checkout or sign-in pages. Set its delay in seconds.
  • To show one offer in two places, add the row twice with a different Show on.

Texts and translations

Languages and direction

  • WHMCS texts come from WHMCS language files, so every language WHMCS has works.
  • The theme's own texts are included in English, Arabic, Norwegian and Spanish. Other languages show English until you translate them in All texts.
  • Right-to-left is automatic for Arabic, Persian, Hebrew, Urdu, Kurdish and Pashto. Features → Force right-to-left forces it for every language.

All texts

Every text the theme shows, grouped by area (homepage, client area, store, support …), with search and a Changed view. Choose the language in Editing, change a text and save. Leave a field empty to keep the built-in text.

Product texts

Names and descriptions of your product groups, products and product add-ons in every site language, side by side. They are saved in WHMCS's own translations, so the store, cart, invoices and emails use them too.

Emails & invoice

Client emails

  1. Choose the look (e.g. Aurora — dark gradient header), header colours, accent colour and corners.
  2. Upload a logo for the header: PNG or JPG (many mail apps do not show SVG). With a dark header use a white or light logo.
  3. Write the line next to the logo, the support line, quick links (e.g. Client area | clientarea.php), social links and the small print (address, company number).
  4. Check the Email preview on the right, then click Use this style for client emails. From then on every client email uses the design; later changes apply as soon as you save.
  5. Restore puts your previous email style back at any time.

PDF invoice

Used automatically while AraTheme is the system theme. Choose the look, header and accent colours, a logo (PNG or JPG; white or light for a dark header), the title, a thank-you line, a payment details box (bank details, "pay online at …") and the footer text (company number, address) — all per language. Use Open on the preview to see a real PDF.
